Assessment: A diagnostic assessment is a clinical evaluation provided by an accredited professional, such as a clinical psychologist, to gather information of a client. It is used to determine an appropriate treatment based on the presenting issues, current mental health status, and clinical impressions. A proper process of a diagnostic assessment will include a pre-assessment consultation (90 minutes), single or multiple tests administration, assessment report, and post-assessment feedback to client/family (60 minutes).
