Previously, I have worked in HELP University as a psychology lecturer and SUKA Society as a Case Manager. I have worked with clients from a variety of populations including underprivileged teenagers, university students, children, young adults, adults and unaccompanied minors (refugees). I have experience in conducting both individual and family therapy.
I believe that therapy is a journey between the client and the counselor in which we work together as a team to discover the process in reaching the client’s goals. This relationship is the fundamental part of the process as I employ family systems approach as well as CTRT in my sessions.
My areas of interest are development issues amongst young children, parenting, adjustment and coping issues, stress, anxiety, depression, as well as family relationships. I hope to be able to continuously contribute to the community through providing counselling services as well as training or talks.
