About Felicia

My journey in Clinical Psychology unfolds as I pursue my Masters at UCSI University. As a Clinical Psychologist Trainee, my purpose is deeply rooted in fostering positive change in individuals’ mental health and well-being.

Throughout my academic journey, I’ve been fortunate to engage in meaningful service for education, particularly for refugee children in rural communities. These experiences have humbled me and opened my eyes to the varied challenges faced by individuals and families.

From working with children and teenagers with special needs to supporting adults grappling with depression, anxiety, parenting, and relationship difficulties, I’ve learned firsthand about the complexities of human experiences.

I firmly believe that every individual possesses unique strengths and resilience, and my aim is to help them harness these resources to lead more fulfilling lives. My approach is grounded in empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude, fostering a safe and supportive environment for my clients.

With a strong affinity for working with children, particularly those with special needs and those grappling with anxiety, emotional regulation, and social skills issues, my journey at UCSI University has provided invaluable opportunities for professional growth. I’ve had the privilege of working with clients facing a diverse range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, Parkinson’s disease, suicidal ideation, and interpersonal relationship issues.

Throughout this journey, I’ve undergone comprehensive training in the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach, equipping me with the skills and insights necessary to provide effective support and intervention. My commitment to empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives is rooted in empathy and a non-judgmental attitude, creating a safe and supportive environment for my clients to explore and address their concerns.

Outside of my professional commitments, I find peace and renewal in the embrace of nature. Exploring the outdoors and connecting with the natural world not only enriches my spirit but also deepens my understanding of mental health.
